Role Overview: Remote Marketing Assistant
As our Remote Marketing Assistant, you will support the marketing department by creating compelling digital content, editing short videos, managing social platforms, and helping plan and track marketing campaigns. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, updating customer records, and supporting communication across departments.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, proactive, fluent in spoken English, and comfortable blending marketing execution with digital admin support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content Creation
- Create and edit short-form videos for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Design basic graphics, social posts, and branded content.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Track campaign performance and ROI using digital analytics tools.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across social platforms.
- Organize marketing assets, content calendars, and brand materials.
- Assist with website content updates as needed.
Social Media & Communication
- Draft captions, marketing emails, and customer-facing messages.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages (when assigned), and collect insights.
- Help prepare marketing reports and summarize performance trends.
Light Administrative Support
- Schedule appointments and update team calendars.
- Assist with customer follow-ups, confirmations, and reminders.
- Maintain accurate data entry in CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred).
- Organize digital documents, proposals, and customer records.
- Support communication between sales, customer service, and operations.
- Provide clear, professional virtual communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing support, virtual assistance, content creation, or administrative roles.
- Strong skills in social media management, video editing, and basic graphic design.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar editing platforms.
- Tech-savvy: Google Workspace, CRM experience (Pipedrive preferred), and project/task management tools.
- Ability to plan campaigns and understand basic marketing performance metrics (ROI, reach, engagement).
- Comfortable working with U.S. teams via Zoom, phone, email, and chat.
- Experience in construction, roofing, or home improvement is a plus -- not required.
- Must be able to work during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time overlap required).
